I can't believe this poll is so close; Eubank is by far the superior fighter.

However, I understand the politics on NSB and know how the Floyd fans will vote for Baldomir.

The objective fans among us will realise that Eubank has the superior resume, the superior power and the superior boxing ability and therefore is the superior fighter overall.

Barely any Mayweather fans are online now. They will come on like in another 5 to 6 hours. All the English posters are on now. I will bump up this thread later, because it been Calzaghe fans been dominating it so far.

Does anyone think Eubank would be able to beat a prime RJJ, so I can make another thread
roy jones best weight wasn't 175. that's where he ended up but to me he's a natural middleweight.

i bring up roy jones because of your statement of how prime great fighters should win a ring belt. how come he never got a ring belt at 160 and 168. neither did toney. neither did hearns.

you put too much emphasis on belts. you need to see who they fought and how they fought. sometimes seeing a fighter in a loss can make you appreciate a fighters skill a lot better than seeing W's or belts held on his bio.

one last thing since you keep trumping up baldomir's ring belt at 147.

tito and oscar never had a ring belt at 147. it's obvious who the better fighters are to everyone though. ring belt or no ring belt. titles don't make the fighter. it helps tell the story but it's not the story in of itself.

It's a no contest though, as already said. The only people voting for Baldy are Mayweather fans or yanks who don't know who Eubank is because they've only watched boxing for a year.

I wouldn't say it is the Calzaghe fans dominating it so far, just the fans who actually know anything about boxing.

Just wait another 5 to 6 hours. Then we see what happened to this poll. It might change. You know most American posters are not online, and mainly English posters are who are nearly all of Calzaghe fans

You mean "Did Eubank win the lottery and beat the most weak minded champion in the history of boxing?"

Just give it up Any American with the slightest boxing knowledge would rate Eubank higher in any category you mentioned

When you posted this thread I didn't look at it from the Calzaghe - Mayweather angle. I just addressed the question. Eubank is the superior boxer in every aspect to Baldomir. I would like to think that the american posters on this site can look at this objectively without bringing their feelings on Calzaghe or Mayweather into their thinking. If they do then they will vote for Eubank.
