Zab Judah-Joshua Clottey: The Pre-Fight Report Card

I dunno if the IBF will be too crazy about allowing a unification fight right after their vacant title is picked up. They will probably want Clottey/Judah to fight a mandatory first.Clottey by wide ud or late stoppage...Judah has a glass jaw will be open to hit all night and will fade in the later rounds....Clottey jaw is granite dude weighs in at 147 then at fight night dude shoots up to 170....Hopefully the winner gets Paul Williams, Antonio Margarito or Andre Berto nextComment

judah is always fire the first 4-5 rounds of a fight. the key is whether he can sustain during the middle and championship rounds.................Comment

Yeah I think they gave Judah a little to much credit and Clottey not enough. Sure Judah's power was good at 140... But this is 147 and he hasn't knocked out anyone in more than 3 years. And Clottey only throwing 1-2s? Should have watched the Chico fight, he was decapitating him with the uppercut. And his left hook is good too.Comment

not just his temper though. cliff hit the nail on the head, and i usually dont agree w/ alot of things this particular writer writes, but he was correct when he alluded to the fact that judah has good power, but he gets frustrated if he cant end the early in one shot. i think anybody durable, with a good chin, and good stamina, that's "comes to fight" for the long haul against zab, will beat him.
i question zabs heart, desire, and everything else, including stamina and chin. if clottey can stay competitive through the first 4-5 rounds of the fight, and doesn't get miraculously ko'ed, he should pick judah apart the second half.............
10 or 11 round TKO, but most likely a UD.Comment

I got Clottey on this one,Clottey's defense is tough and he has great stamina vs Judah who runs dry down the stretch. Judah may hurt Clottey but then again he has a good chin.Comment

Clottey does not have good stamina for the most part. He fades depending on how the pace of the fight is set.Comment
