I think Taylor would have a good crack but I don't see him winning.

Best chance would probably be Chad Dawson.

Good thing you posted the fight since no one actually watched it when it went down last NOV.

I think its Dawson. I don't think Taylor is that good at all, but that aside, a guy with a tendency to gas will always struggle against Calzaghe.

He'd have a good shot if he could build up his stamina. He's a slicker boxer than Kessler, who half the time stood in front of Joe with little in the way of defense or head movement. It's like he was standing there waiting for Joe to open up when he came in, but then never did anything when he had the opportunities. I think Taylor's a better counter puncher than Kessler, which as Hopkins showed, can frustrate Joe. And unlike Hopkins, Taylor stays busier and doesn't resort to dirty tactics as the fight winds down...

I'd love to see Taylor beat Joe. Or Pavlik beat Joe for that matter. If anyone deserves to add "Dethroning Calzaghe" to their resume, it's a young fighter who still has a future and can build his career... not some has-been hall of famer.
