"My hand is paining me" - Clottey

That's what he was saying to his corner during the Tony fight.

    - Help, help, my hand is paining me -

No hand was broken after all, it was a bruised knuckle. Iole reported though that "My hand is paining me" had two broken hands lol

His hand must have been hurting because in the middle rounds he was slapping with the left trying to hook.

I'm not going to be negative. But why is this important? Margarito got the win. And it was obvious no matter the seriousness of the injury that it affected him at that point in time.

It was funny, he fought in spurts cause Tony broke him to the body, but the commentators was saying cause it was due to "My hand is paining me" lol
He slapped with the hook in the first 5 round as well.

Clottey admitted it, his knuckle was bruised. Tony had a sprained ankle in that fight!

No he didn't his hooks were solid, I think they were just awkward from the angle he was in sometimes, like when he tried to triple hook Margarito. Margarito was blocked a lot by Clottey , and Clottey was more accurate through the first half.

**** Lujan won most of the first 6 round against Margarito. I guess he broke his hand too afterwards. Same story with Williams and Cotto and Santos. Winning the first round against Tony and losing the last does not mean you got a broken hand, which was proven to be a false claim anyway.

What was paining him was the pressure Margarito put on him. He cried like a ***** about his hands to make sure the cameras caught it. Margarito hurt his wrist and just fought harder. That was the difference in character between the two and why Margarito walked out with his title.

I'm not saying his hand was broken, but it probably was injured a little or maybe just a lot of pain. When people usually do that slapping type punch, their wrist in hurt. It happened to me before and I couldn't pull my hand back all the way.

I've actually broken a hand and you can't hit with it. He got a bruised knuckle, give me a break, if you spar enough and you hit the heavy bag low enough you'll have bruised knuckles, it's painful but manageable too.
