Calzaghe had no trouble up to this fight. Kessler did. As I've stated several times he didn't have any sparring in the lead-up to the fight and fought the entire fight with a broken right hand that required surgery afterwards.
To the thread-starter (who might be an alt) I'd say first of all that Kessler was plenty experienced going in to the Calzaghe fight. Check his record. And Kessler is the top-dog of the SMW's. To bad no big name has any desire to share the ring with him.

Yes it's true. Kessler had surgery on the hand on Nov. 15 and had it plastered for 4 weeks. After that followed a lenghty rehab.
