Guzman is up there but he aint tasted TRUE Power yet so i cant put him at the top. Marg looks sick right now At WW, but i couldnt see him moving up and handling the shots of say Kelly Pavlik. James Toney while now on the slide for sure has proved his chin from Middle to Heavyweight and against arguably the hardest puncher at the weight in Sam Peter

                Chins:
                Toney
                Baldomir
                Guzman
                Margarito

only because Margarito is the bigger man in his weight class and never really tested his chin outside of 147.. and Guzman is undefeated and fought in divisions such as bantamweight-Superfeatherweight and has never been chin checked, we will see if Campbell can do anything against EL pequeno tyson
It was certainly tested against Santos at 154 when Santos had him reeling around the ring. I can't remember if he put him down but he was definitely hurt badly. I don't know. I think at WW Marg's chin is great but against fighters his own size who can actually punch hard, he has shown he can be hurt and hurt badly.

I do think Guzman has one of the best chins today. He has never been hurt and has taken the punches of much bigger guys without blinking. There are probably a bunch of fighters with great chins that we don't usually acknowledge. Toney of course has quite possibly the best still.

DWiens: Yeah, the punch that put him down against Peter was just a jab when he was already off balance and just lost his footing. Not a punch knock down. You know someone has a really damn good chin when they are fighting guys who are much, much bigger, younger and massive punchers and they still can't be hurt. I couldn't see the same thing working with Margarito if he moved up to LHW and faced the biggest punchers there.

I agree. I don't ever think I've seen him even remotely hurt. That whole Roy Jones "knockdown" he was off balance. I don't think Guzman has fought enough big punchers to say he has the beat chin.
