Last night, a buddy of mine and I had gotten a rumor of a certain phone number that was for Floyd Jr's home number..So,just ****ing around, I called the number and it was Floyd Sr! I told him that I had just got his number through a friend and that I was a big fan, and he didnt seem to care. We talked for a good twenty minutes, and he was telling me that he lost $1,200 betting on Cotto, and that he his about to fly out to train Guzman for Campbell. He told me that he fought Sugar Ray Leonard with a hairline fracture in his right hand, and that he believes "lil floyd definetly aint done...Hes gona come back and whoop margarito"...Says Mayweather Sr. Were now on a first name basis, and at the end of the convo he was like okay John, it was nice talkin to you. I asked him if it was cool to call him every now and then, and he said sure it was nice havin this converstaion with you. very laid back dude, Floyd Jr. wouldnt have done the same im pretty sure.
