Israel Vazquez commentating for the Jhonny G fight Friday

That fight was ****en epic. Thats when i started thinking damn, Vasquez is one tough mf never die attitude. After that fight i made sure to follow Vasquez.

I wathced the Margarito and Vasquez fights back to back the other day and as exicting as the Margarito fight was, the Vasquez. v Marquez fight was just a bit better for fight of the year.

I'll be watching.

Whens Vasquez fighitng again? And any chance he fight Marquez again?

vazquez will be taking off the year. But will be back next year. Not sure on who his opponent will be.

Does he stay in shape? He deserves a year off, but i hope he stays in shape so he doesn't get rusty. A 4th fight would be great!

he loves staying in shape. A true gym rat. you'll see tomorrow he's in decent shape.( and thats with no training) he never likes to gain to much between fights. But trust me, if it was up to Vazquez he would be in the gym already. He's always been the type to take a week off, after his fight... then head back to the gym.
But my dad wants him to really rest his body. He's been in tough fights and wants Vazquez to enjoy his vacation. I'm sure you would agree... he deserves a nice vacation.

He deserves a rest, i would have put him in a fight (easier fight) in October then have him fight the next year again. Just to keep him active. Inactivity is a *****, some are hurt by it, some are not. Vasquez staying in shape is great news. I plan on seeing his next fight. Hopefully he fights more at Carson, thats a great place for a fight.

Ive heard Vazquez will be fighting Jorge Arce, Jhonny Gonzalez, and Jorge Linares. Whats really happening? I want to see Vazquez vs Juanma Lopez!

and to the Cotto haters calling him a quitter, mostly Mexicans who are probably fans of Vazquez, what did he do in the first Marquez fight? Im not hating, im a huge fan of Cotto and Vazquez. I just want to hear your answer.

Not sure who he will fight next. As for the first fight, Vazquez actually did not break his nose like most people think.Nor did he stop because of that. He stop because he could not breathe. It was later found out that he had massive cartilage and blood that was blocking both nostrils. Which was also from previous fights. The doctor said the left nostril was 90% closed and the right one was 100% closed. But IMO Vazquez redeemed himself and has proved it was his breathing why he had to stop.

haha check out in the first round. Marquez hits Vazquez on the nose in the rematch and Vazquez does a little dance, as if saying that wont work today and later dominated the fight.
