if you subtract all the gay but sex..It was an alright movie.

Bobby Chacon if you include Mexican American boxers. He was actually a good boxer earlier in his career but often chose to slug it out instead for whatever reason. He won some epic fights on heart alone including his battles with Limon and Edwards.

there was only two scenes but way too real and scary, lol,

olmos had a green light on him because he made the movie too factual and supposedly 1 mil to take teh green light off of him.

the dvd has great little documentary, some of the people that participated in the movie were killed, doesn't say because of the movie just says it was cause by gang violance, and they use real homies from differnt neighborhoods.

don't know if true but the kid who did the drive by supposdely later on actually did a real drive by, sucks
