Well, for boxing fans it is the only fight other than DLH out there that makes any sense. Mosley would probably go the distance but I think he would get outworked. Judah... I wouldnt even think about watching that one. Thats really all there is out there.

I think Margarito fans dont want a Williams fight because they want him to have the title for a bit longer.

Ummm for 1. Margarito has never been on pay per view before unless it was an undercard. And everyone knows it was only on Pay Per View because of Miguel Cotto. You're talking as if Margarito is a big PPV star or something. And if you walk down the street and ask who Paul Williams is they'll say "Yeah thats the guy that beat the one dimensional Margarito"

Holy **** - you sound like a Leonard Ellerbee-wannabe. Tony should want to avenge his loss as soon as possible.

If it makes dollars it makes sense? LOL

With Oscar and Floyd out of the picture, it does make it challenging to create that marketability. Sadly the Cotto rematch down the road some is very probably the biggest payday he can line up. Probably the biggest payday for Cotto too, if he can put together a few solid wins.

It won't bomb all of Mexico knows who Margarito is now. Hell Mexicans pay for Julio Cesar Chavez jr fights.

You think they won't pay for Margarito after he made Cotto quit?

The other thing too, is that my impression is that Tony wants the Oscar fight more for the perceived greatness associated with a victory over Oscar, rather than simply for the dollars. I don't think that Margarito even brings up Williams until the Oscar/Pac deal is done.

I mean what are the options again? Unifying which if Clottey wins, I don't think generates much enthusiasm, Judah isn't durable enough. Does the Williams rematch at this point create much anticipation?

The Sugar Shane Mosly of 3-4 years ago would have been interesting, but now?

I appreciate that he has support, but for broad interest, there needs to be something compelling in the matchup.

The winner of say a Cotto/Williams matchup down the road, for instance.
