Calzaghe unified his division by taking on and beating the other titlists, both of whom were undefeated and favoured by many to beat him. Floyd never unified a title or cleaned out a division in his life.

Floyd. Mayweather has the kind of speed makes a fighter great without other considerations. This isn't to detract from Calzaghe who's a very good fighter in his own right without the blinding speed. Speed kills. Think about it: If you take away Roy Jones speed would be be an ATG? Take away Jones speed and he's unconcious at the feet of Antonio Tarver and Glenn Johnson.
Same thing with Mayweather. Floyd may not hang around long enough to suffer Roy's fate though.

I think getting 5 titles in 5 different weight classes is great but reigning your division for 10 years is great too so that's just personal preferance.
Floyd's opposition is questionable and he ducked the best fighters. Calzaghe fought the better competition and didn't duck anyone.
Floyd's skills are pretty damn good, better than Calzaghe's but they are 2 completely different styles, they are both great at what they do.
