Hope that title got your attention. Its been close to a week since Margarito took the division by storm, or should I say by tornado? Either way I've been reading some of the post since the fight and I'm shocked by much of what I've read. Both fans of Cotto and Margarito are still at each others throats over one of the best fights in a very very long time. I'm not going to say I wasn't surprised by the outcome, but certainly not disappointed. I am a Cotto fan have been since he started his career, never thought that Margarito was going to pull it off. However after watching the fight I don't know why we are still arguing over it. Cotto displayed tremendous heart even though the ignorant posters on here are calling him quito he is still in my eyes as much of a champion as he ever was in trying to do everything in his power to win up until the fight was stopped. Margarito definately gained another fan after his display of determination and will. Being Puerto Rican I just don't feel the need to bash a country or its people just because one of their fighters beats one of my favorite boxers. People need to get a grip and see things as they need to be. If Cotto is able to make a comeback and continue on with his career this loss will hardly be anything to worry about. In fact both fighters will more then likely face each other in the future and makes even more money as the outcome of the fight has been broadcasted from here to high heaven and everyone that missed the first one will be dieing to see the rematch. Everyone on here claims that the only reason why Margarito won was because he broke his nose and couldnt breathe. Meaning Cotto's nose just shattered out of nowhere and Margarito had nothing to do with it.

Some people are just too bitter and need to get over it.

Tony busted cotto up no question. So what if he quit. If you were a professional figher and you fed your family through your ability to fight and win would you risk your career just to take a beating if you answered yes then I hate to say it your a fan of the wronge sport. No man with half a brain is going to stand there and get beat when he knows that he can't win. Cotto leaving the ring with his health intact means a hell of alot more to me then him standing and taking a beating for another 2 rounds just to prove that Puerto Ricans are badass. Margarito has one hell of a chin, I pray that both fighters are able to continue giving us the fights we love to see. Quito? Wow thats a lot of hate for a man that went in there did everything he could possibly do, took a beating to do it and finally had the common sense to say... "**** it he's the better man today let me live to fight another day."

Dude I'm not trying to insult you but I've watched that fight 4 times and not once did I hear Cotto utter the words I quit. In fact what everyone is calling the second knee honestly looked like cotto slipped and he was too tired to get up quickly. Margariot beat the breaks off Cotto but the man looked resigned to take his beating like a man. What more can you ask for? Cotto looked at the ref and then looked at his corner but he didn't move his lips.
