With most of the forum (and boxing community as a whole) buzzing still about the maragarito v. cotto fight i watched some videos of a fallen warrior and even though it seems random and i've probably posted them before i feel compelled to post them again.

It truely makes me sad...

i watch these 3 videos and i make it fine past the first...pretty good (not 100%) through the second but still holding it together...and im man enough to say that by the time im half way through the 3rd i tear everytime...

theres not enough good things that can be said about this man...

i understand much more than i speak...and im not the best at reading it...

but my dads mom has spoken italian to me since birth so i understand enough to get around...

why?

i should...

it was technically the first language and only language i spoke when i was a toddler...but some of my family dont understand it and took offense...so they taught me english instead...so yeah.

but my dads mom ignored and tried...some of it im good with...some i am not.

i can make small talk and thats about it...

i been getting much better as of late because my girlfriend INSISTS i speak in italian to her...even though shes mexican and speaks spanish...she understands a good portion since the languages are very similar...just the way you pronounce the words are different...not with everything obviously...**** it you know what i mean.

Yeah, I get you. I'm hispanic and I speak spanish, there are SOME similarities between Italian and Spanish. There's a big, big difference though. HUGE. Especially all the little technicalities.
