man like it or not Hatton is an elite fighter...he is the number#1 Fighter in the world at 140 for what 3 -4 years???

You might not like him, but dont be ****** give the man his respect. He is on top of a entire weight class in boxing which is 140..and he has control that division for 3-4 years.. If that is not elite....nothing is.

It's a weak division though, the #2 guy in that division is most famous for taking a serious ass beating by Miguel Cotto. (Or coming to fight with hair extensions, having to get a ****ing haircut mid-fight in his corner.) Witter is one his last legs, Bradley is still too inexperienced, I doubt he'll hold the belt for more than a year unless he fights tin cans.

Hatton is the most overrated fighter out there right now.

As for Floyd Sr. possibly training Ricky, I doubt even Floyd Sr. could whip that kid into shape. You're talking about a guy who fancies himself "elite" yet can't be bothered to stick to a proper diet, chugs beers constantly, fights at 140 and has a walk around weight of about 180.

Hatton is hopeless. Though I do favor him against Paulie, simply because Paulie can't keep Hatton off of him with his ***** fists.

Ricky Hatton is A beast IMO, You can not by chance control an entire weight division in boxing and be just a marketing success..

But if you feel that Being #1 on the planet earth in your division for 4 years is nothing, Then I guess nobody is elite by your standards.

I can't believe anybody still thinks Ricky is elite. Look at his record.

The kid has been feasting on nobodies and tin cans his entire career.

His "hallmark" wins are a foulfest against Kostya Tszyu in which he should've been disqualified, a knockout of a past-prime Mexican legend in Castillo, and a win over luis COllazo, which, as anybody who watched the fight knows, he should've never gotten in the first place.
