Miguel Cotto is so devastated by his L

that I saw him hanging out yesterday at Shannan's Pub a popular hangout place here in PR. LOL

He was dancing and drinking, I don't think he took his L as hard as some of the people in here thinks. People are saying that he won't be the same menatlly but to be hanging out 4 days after a L shows he's already over it. He knows he gave a good performance but was eclipsed that day by a determined guy like Marg.

Dancing and drinking are slightly different than getting back in the ring after a brutal TKO.

Dont let it get to ya. The only people that are saying Cotto is done are haters or Margarito's ****ty fans like Viva and others that are completely 100% biased.

Cotto will be back, I find it especially good for him that he does not want an immediate rematch. He should fight someone like Andre Berto for a comeback fight, then maybe a top 5 welter, then maybe rematch Margarito if he still has the belt.

Teddy atlas said Cotto maybe a shot fighter now, so we all know that what that really means is he will come back strong.

LOL. This thread had me worried there for a second. I'm glad to see he is out there having fun and doing his thing less than a week after a very tough loss.

I know but what I'm trying to say is that if he were that phsyced out about his loss he would still be at home lamenting about it instead he was out having fun and stuff, mentally he's over it already which is the most difficult thing.

He's been in tough wars(Torres) before so getting back into the ring while having confidence on his skills shouldn't be a problem.

guy you cant really tell if Cotto is done or not intell he fights again.

I think people here are judging quick on the situation. Lets wait and see when he fights again.

Yeah, people are way too quick to say he's done. Hell, if you are worried about Cotto worry about Margarito as well, he took a LOT of clean hard punches. And just because he never got hurt does not mean they did not take their tole on him.

Look man, I respect Cotto and love his style.

First I'd like to say that this might be his way of trying to cope with the situation, I wouldnt necessarily say he's completely over it and I wouldn't necessarily say he's mentally/emotionally challenged. We really dont know until he fights again.

Second I'd like to mention that what happened this past saturday was 10x more violent than what happened in the Torres fight. Plus he beat Torres so even though he was in trouble, he pulled through.
