Williams didn't effectively train for their first fight

Williams' camp didn't bother sparring with any southpaws, and Paul was just plain looking past Carlos and still on cloud 9 from his first big win. Quintana stated he trained even harder for their 2nd bout knowing Williams overlooked him the first time. I'm not buying any argument that states Quintana had an off night in the rematch when he declared that he trained even more vigorously. Williams on the other hand, gave credence to the 1st bout being an off night, by training seriously the 2nd time, bringing his A game, and taking care of business in the 1st round.

Cintron got it twice and may be done as far as elite contention. Cotto will be back, but I agree he lost sumthin in that fight. Willimas got hurt in the 2nd half but he UD'd Tony, and his loss to Quintana had nothin to do wit anything Tony did to him. On top of that he blew Carlos away in the rematch. As it relates to Williams, Tony didn't ruin ****.
