Tony Weeks is the best ref out there.

Also when someone hits someone when they are down like that, I actually think Jay Nady did the right thing on accident. Don't count the knock down, but just give him 10 (maybe 20) to get up. Though it has to be used accordingly. When Margarito hit Cotto while he was down, it was in the moment and he was to hyped up on adreniline to notice Cotto wass down and was swinging so he could finish him.

I agree Tony Weeks is a good ref.

People over Hype Kenny Bayless he is ok but he made his share of mistakes in that fight.

He shouldve deducted, i was kinda pissed he told Cotto to keep it up when he hit margs right on the belt.

I used to like Bayless but last saturday he showed a great ref can also make a mistake he should of Deducted a point and gave a 5 minute rest to cotto when margarito hit him low.

Anyone think its kinda sad how even the best refs who once were considered at the top of their game are falling short like Cortez and now bayless?

I just red in the Sports section of my paper they gave Bayless praise.
But does he really deserve the praise? He let marg hit him when cotto was down without a warning or a deduction.

He deserves praise. He understood the context of the situation, showed restraint, and allowed the better fighter to win. A bitter pill for you to swallow I suppose.
