What changes need to be made in the Cotto camp now ?

I feel Cotto conditioned himself just fine for this fight but his busted nose caused problems for breathing so that was his downfall in the fight. But obviously Marg's pressure got to him and Cotto lost. To start off - I think Cotto will be just fine, he justs need a long break and a new trainer. If you want to shake off such a career damping loss you have to make changes especially when you barely converse with your trainer in the gym. New look, new trainer breathes new life and I think thats exactly what Cotto needs to get back ontop again. I feel Cotto will be champion again and a rematch will be done, Cotto's far from done.

    What you guys think ?

Reall, nothing needs to change. I have more respect for Cotto now than before the fight. If you want to nit pick, maybe more of a defense kind of trainer. He has always leaned in with his gloves high exposing his chin to uppercuts. He needs a trainer that can teach him to stay in the pockets and fire off shots inside instead of back pedaling and throwing. Teach him inside defense like an open glove on his chest to block uppercuts. And maybe even times right hands over jabs. Miguel has decent stamina and good power. Has the boxing pedigree and decent trainers. Evangelista is a good trainer, but not world class. I think someone like a John David Jackson would be good for him. Maybe even Manny. I just saw a lot of defensive flaws. I really didnt see anything timed, it was more get out of the way and counter, instead of a timed over hand right, or slip and punch. He counter punched well, but I would have like to see more timed punches over jabs, and slip right hands and come with uppercuts.

I dont think that Cotto has the long arms to pull it off. His arms are really short. It would leave a good amount of body to hit. That would be a good idea though.

His defense needs to tighten up, that's basically it. Other than that Cotto's still good.

I have a feeling Cotto will most likely change trainers.

But this loss woke him up. I hope it did. Cotto seems to be ****y in the ring at times. Maybe he learned his lesson last Saturday.

Ima have to watch closely on his comeback fight. Just interested in seeing who will it be.

I think the busted nose he suffered in round 2 had something todo with his stamina. But I agree, if Cotto had more stamina he'd at least make it out the full 12. This guy was doing the matrix when Marg was throwing punches in the early rounds.
