I'm just asking, because I've never seen him on there before this past Saturday. Nothing against Antonio, but did this 1 fight really up him that much? I still see him as 1 dimensional with 5 losses. Cotto could of easily won if he'd stuck to his gameplan, stick and move but exhaustion caught in. (and yes thats an excuse) But lets keep this on the Top P4P subject and not my comments on Margarito

the guy was top 3-4 in his division. the 2nd deepest division in boxing behind lightweight. he just beat 1 top 10 147 guy a few months ago and he just beat arguably the top guy at 147 last week.

when you are one of the best in your division and you beat the best in your division (a division that is 2nd deepest and most talented in boxing) that's cause for being top 10 p4p...... if the guy you beat is #2 or #3 on most p4p lists then you definitely deserve to be on that list as well.

I agree that Cotto is the better boxer, that's a no brainer. However, I still dont understand how your P4P rankings work. How and why you would still think Cotto would be above Margarito regardless of the fact that Antonio put a whoopin on his ass? I also don't understand why you would still have Mayweather above Cotto if he were to lose to him. I guess you have a completely different thought process going on upstairs but keep in mind that P4P doesnt translate into "Who boxes better?".

ok well let me dumb it down a bit for ya then. if the #1 p4p fighter in the world lost to a Nobody, i wouldnt put the nobody in the #1 p4p spot after the fight. He would have to earn it, instead of just having a good night, he would need more impressive wins and if he can keep up the good work, then he would move up on the list. So if a guy(marg) was ranked like number 10, beat a guy (cotto) at number 3 or 4 or whatever he was. i wouldnt just switch them 2 around on the list after one fight which is cotto's 1st and very 1st lost! he is still better than margarito
