    Who was Mayweather cheering for?

As he was watching saturday's fight, who was he rooting for? Cotto or Margarito?

    My pick is Cotto, because

    1) Cotto would have provided more money down the line

    2) Mayweather could have occasionally sat on his punches with Cotto, whereas against Tony he would have to put on a very booable performance to win, he would have to be exceedingly negative and defensive (similar to the 2nd half of baldo fight or the most boring rounds of De La Hoya Mayweatehr, not like the 1st half of baldo fight or the good rounds of DLH-PBF/)

    Cotto

    19
    Margarito

I can agree with that... there's no way he would trade blow for blow with Margarito ... that's just not smart

I don't know but maybe Cotto, for the same reason you point out. But I could have sworn he said he doesn't care about this fight when they asked him who he thought would win. We know that is lies though...........

He was hoping for a double KO. That way he will have another excuse not to face the winner.

yeah also I think he hoped that Cotto won, then fight Oscar nad beat him and be a big star. Oscar is not fighting Margarito. Oscar gasses out. Gassing out against Mayweather costs you the fight, gassing out against Cotto who knows, gassing out against Margarito maybe the fight and for sure a lot of pain.

Add one more answer to the poll so I can answer. None of the above.

he was cheering for margarito you dumbasses, Cotto had the potential to go on to be greater than Floyd and so, was the obvious rival.

I thought Ricky Hatton was going to be greater then Floyd.

Hatton's talking about retiring and like Floyd didn't take on enough big name fighters, he's nearly done. Cotto could've carried boxing on his back for years, Margarito ruined that.
