          There was a totally deaf boxer who fought on ESPN a few Wednesday's ago. I can't remember his name though. He won the fight and was a decent talent.

            nah a deaf boxer will get disqualified after 1 round is over because he will not hear the ring bell and keep punching is opponnet....

              Hes got a good excuse though if he does

              The ref would be aware of his disability and step in when the bell rings.

                    I fought a deaf boxer back in 1989....a VERY tough guy!! I always wondered, many did, if his lack of hearing somehow contributed to him being so tough. I stopped him on cuts in 6 rounds...but he took a lot of punches and complained when the ref stopped it. I was really coming on and letting loose but he wanted more.

                    On another note, I some him fight a kid about one month earlier in NY and the guy actually went into a coma the same night
