Im not mad at anyone staying at 1 division there whole career and being considered a great fighter. However, I dont think its fair to say someone has a super super super great chin if they never move up in weight. Margarito has a great WW chin but can you honestly say his chin is better then a guy who has been in multiple divisions? He just got hit clean by 2 monsters and didnt flinch but they were guys who were either his own size or smaller then him. He moved up to fight Santos and was rocked a few times. I wont totally rip him for that since Santos was a Southpaw and they can catch you with blind shots but Im also not sold that he would just be able to take a great punch at the next level. He probably can right now since 154 is probably the worst division in boxing right now but if they still had some big dogs then I wouldnt be sold on his chin.
I definatly am not sold on his chin at 160. I think he would get rocked a ton up there and that would only be his 3rd division. If you dont have a super great chin in your 3rd divison then I dont think its fair to just say that he has the best chin in the sport. Even P4P you cant say that since he's a huge WW. Dont get me wrong, he obviously has a monster chin but is it fair to automatically say that its better then another guy who has been in multiple divisions? I love guys like Hagler who are beast but is it really super special that he never gets hurt at MW when he stayed there his whole career and was a solidly built guy? Not to mention that his really big fights came against guys moving up in weight so they didnt have really any chance of hurting him. If I see Margarito take a punch from Pavlik, Taylor, Abraham, Miranda, or even a guy like Tito then I would say that he has a super great chin
