Cotto, Cintron and Clottey are worth mentioning, but stop overhyping Margarito's record man... this is getting ridiculous.

The other Margarito names arent bums, but:

Randall was like 40 when he fought Margarito.

Kyvelos is just as credible as Pinto.... he was hyped and didnt amount to anything special.

        Lujan has proved absoluetly nothing.

Lewis hasnt proved anything.... he is such an inactive fighter... He fights about every 1.5 years and fights thrid class fighters of which he has lost to.

Danny Perez also hasnt proved anything, he has never beat a quality fighter.

Antonio Diaz was a solid fighter.... Mosley had a field day with him and took him apart sooner and more impressively than Margarito... I remember that fight like yesterday.

My point is, dont paint a picture with ****....

The win over Cotto makes his resume the best IMO.

Mayweather and Cotto have not been at welter too long. Margarito has been a welter his whole career pretty much. So give it a few more years and we will see then.

Exactly, and aside from Cotto, Clottey, and Cintron, Margarito hasnt really fought anyone worth mentioning. Solid to mediocre fighters, not stars.

Margarito's resume is the resume of what we can call a top Welter.

                  Margarito deserves the top spot.
