How many successful heavy's that have been hurt at lower weights?

With all this talk of how Haye might not be successfull because he has been hurt at cruiserweight i was just wondering, how many successful heavyweights have been hurt in lower weight classes.
Well Roy Jones was Ko'd by Tarver and Johnson, Byrd at light heavy was Ko'd but was shot. Micheal Spinks was hurt a few times by Qawi at light heavyweight and was even knocked down in the 13th round although partly a slip. How many more can you think of?

But Byrd and Jones were hurt when they went down to lower weights in their mid-30s.

After building muscle to fight at a higher weight, you lose too much muscle when losing 30 pounds or more over a short period of time.

None were seriously hurt or stopped if they fought at a lower weight when they were young and then moved up to heavyweight.

Haye is not the great hope you're searching for, Duffgun.

I think Haye could very easily beat Klitschko because of the styles but what happens when he meets an iron chin?

You can cross off the Jones and Byrd examples because that was after weight draining back down from HW. There is no one that has been successful at HW after being stopped at LHW or CW ....... ever. Haye might be the first, who knows?

Yeah i agree byrd and jones were weight drained. Micheal Spinks was hurt a few times by Qawi at light heavyweight and put down in the 13th by a body shot partly because he was of balance that’s the closest i could come.

I havent seen many of his LHW fights, it would be intresting to see if he was hurt at any point.

I got one, Ezzard Charles was knocked out as a light heavyweight, had a good career at heavyweight.
