Dmitriy Salita, why is he fighting Willie Limond?

Ive heard a lot about him but havent seen him fight much. He has a record of 28-0 and is calling out Andrey Kotelnick who is the WBA 140 pd champion.

So then why is he fighting Willie Limond, a 135 pd fight moving up who was KO'ed by a prospect Amir Khan two fights ago.

Should Salita be allowed to fight for a title when he hasnt fought anyone?

Should Aj Banal been allowed to fight for a title when he hadnt fought anyone?

But seriously i dont know why he is fighting this guy. He has been inactive that or he has been fighting out of the limelight, ie espn. Let him take this fight, fight a champion, if he loses then he was matchmade great, if he wins then maybe he is legit

      He's really not very good.

Salita has the most padded resume of anyone I can think of. They are choosing Limond because he's smaller - he's usually fought at lightweight and junior lightweight, while Salida usually fights at welterweight and junior welterweight.

From all accounts he should not be undefeated. He should have lost to Ramon Montano. Nonetheless, there are plenty of people who are unworthy of title shots and still get them...

Cause Salita is an over-protected over-rated fighter that's only popular cause of his ***ish fanbase in NY. Hopes that answers your question..

i think he left dibella cause dibella likes to challenge his fighters.
dibella has alot of young guys from the nyc area and is not scared to put them in good fights. dimitri's people want the easy way out. he has an undefeated record but at least 2 of his fights could of been losses.
