    Miguel Cotto's Defence????

What was the man thinking when he was fighting against Margarito. He thought he was a defence king in the first couple of rounds, because Margarito was slow. If you watch the fight carefully, Cotto defence was non-existence. He hits Maragrito with a couple then moves away, BUT THEN he back himself into the corner or the ropes and just has his hands covering his face, when he gets hit he then reacts. You have to watch the fighter, that what makes a great defence. Everything he just covered his face, Margarito got some shots in then finally KO'D. Cotto defence is horrible; I for once was not impressed.

Mayweather has his hand out and watches his opponent’s move, so he can counter it or move away. Cotto needs to work on his defence and he will become an ATG in my opinion.

I thought he did a good job of dodging punches early on. But at the same time he was still there to be found. I think he could take the body shots. It was the uppercuts that did him in.

There was a mean bodyshot from Tony that made Cotto buckle in the 2 round if I remember correctly. Uppercuts destroyed Cotto.

The reason the uppercuts did him, was that he had his hands covering his face and couldn't see incoming shots. He just stood there and hoped Margarito shots didn't hurt him. He should work on his defence and watch his opponent attack not just cover and counter when hit, because it might become too late and you will get hurt.

Damn dude he got stung by body shots from the first round on. He got doubled over and dinged from every single body shot from the 7th. Re watch the fight homeboy was in trouble from the start just re watch the first 2 rounds.
