The Problem...pbfm

The problem I have with floyd being an all time great is a few things..

1. He of course ducked some important fights.

2. He would talk smack about destroying someone then go in there and punch hold, punch hold, punch hold. ect and get a split decision (arguable) (via DHL). then I hear what a master piece that fight was.

3. Out side of the ring an ignorant person. Constant statements ..blah. blah. racism..blah. blah. hate me.. blah. blah.

4. Has a perfect chance to fight Cotto/Margarito/Mosley/P.W... but takes a 140 pounder, knocks him out and retires??? WTF. Ok that may fit in with point 1.

Thing is with Floyd, everyone, including himself knows he is a great fighter because he beat fighters such as Judah, Corrales, Castillo, Hatton when they were in their primes and he did it without argument (ignoring the first Castillo fight, which I believe Floyd won). However, where were the fights with Morales, Zoo, Mosely (I can't believe this fight has never happened), Cotto etc etc. He seemed to be so obsessed with chasing De La Hoya he jumped though the weight classes taking the 'easy' belts from the not so great champs (Baldomir, Gatti eg)....

Thing is with Floyd, if he had fought all these other guys in their primes, he would have most likely beaten them (no way would I bet against Floyd against Morales, Zoo etc) but it just never happened!

Floyd is an unproven great if that makes sense imo.

nah, not much of a gambler. I hit vegas a few times, lost about 500 bucks and called it quits. I did do alot of Poker games with friends when I was in the Marines but 9/11 ruined all the fun

yer, the points mean nothing lol. you just arrange it with other people then depending on the outcome you send each other the appropriate money just by clicking their name. simple. But yer, I come here for the news too.... love boxing.
