ok so today at exactly 11:45 california time i was outside my house having my regular chat with my son's gardener talking about what plant and flowers i shoul put in my front loan. suddenly we had a ****ing earthquake. i was like woah! then we continued chatting and i asked him "hey it was a great fight last saturday did u see it" and he was like "what fight, dela hoya" i was like no "margarito and cotto" and he just said "i dont know them" i mean i can't believe it that he doesn't know them. he's about my age.

The fight was real big here in Las Vegas.. the radio stations where talking about it, there was buzz in the casinos, on the news, etc.. Now you might think.. well duh it's Las Vegas!
But not every fight gets the hype this fight got.. The one thing I didn't see where billboards which seemed strange because there was hella billboards for Torres Holt and wasn't that also Top Rank?

well a ****load of people in southern california mainly mexicans knew margarito and cotto but they were going for margarito

at work, i was reading usa today's sport section where they had a few articles about margarito/cotto and a black guy commented that it was going to be a good fight. a few days after the fight I asked a mexican at work if he watched the fight and he said he doesn't watch boxing.
