        What was Baldomir when Floyd Mayweather Jr. fought him?

        WBC + RING MAGAZINE + LINEAL WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD
        At that time Baldomir was a bigger name. He beat Gatti, Judah. Margarito ain't beat anyone at the time.

          yes he was but why claim that Floyd was "beat the odds"? why do these guys always try to make it seem like Floyd has had a mountain to climb ever since moving to the WW division?

                  Nice boxrec work. Loser.

                  You seem to be forgetting the fuss that got made over Margarito's losses before the Cotto fight and how they were ******ly used to discredit his chances.

                  But then. Your dumbass never gave Margarito a chance against your overhyped idol anyway.

                  Baldomir was a work in progress for a long time.
                  The losses don't mean **** in relation to how dangerous an opponent he was when Mayweather fought him.

                  Which was unbeaten in 8 years.

                  You know it.

                      but the fact remains that the best fighter in the world was taking the less risk available.

                      let me rephrase that

                      the fighter who had the best skills in the world to overcome the biggest challenges was taking the easier fights. i wish it wasnt so because this guy had an amazing pre WW career but its the truth.

                      that isnt as commendable as someone who is willing to step in the ring with anyone.

                      and it appears that the board shares that sentiment, but im sure they are all just biased and racist.
