i consider boxing when you stay at a distance but dont back up constantly. all cotto was doing was backing himself into the ropes because he didnt like his first taste of true welterweight power. thats running and cotto should be ashamed of himself for fighting this way. he should have stood his ground and just got knocked out earlier.

Cotto was fighting a much bigger man, there was no other way. He had no choice if he wanted to win.

man please viva shut the **** up! You would get in a car and run from a fight. Cotto brawled alot that's is what got him in trouble. He can not out brawl margarito that's why he was trying to stay away you can't blame him for that. Viva I take it you are un-athletic and have never played any type of sport. You go in with a game plan and cotto's was to box and stay away. I don't blame him he gave us a great fight but for you to say he ran is ******. He did back up, hit and run but also did brawl on several occasions. Cotto gained my respect!!

You're an idiot. Cotto fought a smart fight. He was boxing and exchanging. I know if a fighter isn't brawling every second of the fight completely exposing himself, then you don't think he's a "true warrior." Cotto was ripping your boy with combos for most of the fight. The pressure became too much, Cotto got worn out, and Margarito was the better man that night. I don't think Cotto's chances are any lessened for a rematch. I give props to Margarito. He did a great job, but ****** **** like this is annoying.
