Other then reddening up Oscar's face Forbes really didn't do all that much, it was a virtual shut out.

Oscar maybe older, and past his best but he still has one of the better chins in boxing.

even if DLH does get hit like he did vs Forbes no way he gets kayo'd. personal pride will not allow De La Hoya to get kayo'd by a former 106 pounder who's fighting his first fight as a Welter.

although a kayo by Manny can happen (won't completely rule it out) I'd seriously have to doubt it.

and in regards to Diaz size, who cares, he coulda fought at Middleweight

he was still the worst Lightweight Alphabet title holder at the time Pac-Man took him on, and I think that's a heck of a lot more relivent the how much "bigger" Diaz was then Pac-Man.

yes I put "" on bigger I saw Pac-Man vs Diaz and they looked pretty even sized to me.

100% agree that Manny has real chance of delivering DLH floorward.

That's what I'm saying man. Forbes can't hit for **** (he has 9 KO's in 33 wins)...If that was Manny's fist, DLH would of been out. At the very least, he'll have to respect Manny's punch more than Forbes. I'm not saying those are the only factors...Forbes is better than Pac defensively, so that will definetly come into play. All I'm saying is Pac has a better shot than people think with DLH on the downslide and Manny having much more power than Forbes who was tagging DLH all night.

The more I think about the better shot I give Manny. Right now Oscar is still incredibly overrated. If Pacquiao tries to duplicate Mosley in the first DLH fight and isn't careless, he could pull it off.

DLH's definetly on the downside of his career, im in full agreement on that

and if Manny can avoid taking heavy damage in the early rounds, he very well could tire Oscar out and possibly stop him on accumulation

but if were going punch for punch, I would have to think that Manny taking DLH's best punch would be a bigger problem then Oscar taking Manny's best shots.

even at 35, DLH's always been a big puncher.

I'd agree with all you said there.

I know where my money will be Scott (on Pac). And you know I rarely bet dogs.

Pac scored his last 2 KDs with short left hands. Maybe he can stop DLH with one full blown straight left punch.

A flyweight Pac knocked down a Japanese welterweight in sparring. He also floored his Russian welterweight sparmate when he was 126. No doubt he can punch. But like they say, it's different under the lights. Who knows?..

but I guess that's the attraction to the fight, the unknown.

all I know though is Marquez's left hook had an effect on Manny and that was at 130.

I see Oscar either putting Manny away inside 6, or throwing too many punches, gassing out and losing.

look for HBO to hype the holy hell out of this fight as it really is shaping up to be a David vs Goliath of epic proportions

De La Hoya going after a new Pound For Pound #1 all over again.

A lot of people (most) are calling it a joke of a fight, I just don't see it that way. I think Pac has a decent shot.

Oscar who fought Forbes would still beat like half the welters out there.
I was really impress with oscar when he fought forbes he couldnt put forbes out but he was putting some shots together and he had better gas tank then pacman.
Oscar is clearly not ballooning in weight so he is in shape still.
I think Pacmans only chance is to Break the nose of oscar early ala morales vs pacquiao 2 and hope oscar gasses and loses power toward the mid rounds then unleash.
other then that oscar will take pacmans best punch and smile.
