Floyd waited for Cotto to win so he could get his mega payday. That plan failed and Margo would be a boring one sided fight. Paul Williams is high risk low pay, and the critics are blasting the oscar rematch possibility. Floyd will wait for the opportune moment to come back. Love him or hate him, he's business first and he will stick to the right game plan for him.

Mayweather would win a wide UD vs. Cotto or a late TKO.
      EASY UD over Margarito.
An old Mosley is easy work for Floyd.
      Berto? LOL!

Why not retire then. None of these mother****ers are on his level.

Mosley ---- wouldnt mind seeing that ... but wont be appealing ...

Mayweather is smart as hell... he is letting the welterweight division sort itself out ...with no 1 winner ... lol i mean , he is a genuis... cotto is out ... Margarito will probably lose before the year is over ...then after that ... who does he need to fight ? There is no one left ...
I wouldnt say he got humiliated...he just got beat by someone who was the better man that night. this is boxing it happens.

and i dont know about the rest of the forum but i STILL think a fight between cotto and mayweather would be good...especially considering how well cotto boxed the first half of the fight.

I strongly agree with that. A Cotto-Mayweather fight would be much better than say Margarito-Mayweather. Styles make fights, and Cotto was beat from overwhelming pressure, stamina, power, and the inability to hurt his opponent. Cotto, still has a chance against mayweather, although he'll probably never get that chance because it will now make less money, and people will only say mayweather fought him only after he got knocked out so it doesn't mean anything bla bla bla. He's an undefeated fighter that worries mostly about the big 'O' on the record, and will do what it takes to secure his legacy going out big without the unnecessary risk.

He could also move up to middleweight and TKO Pavlik as well. Because if JT could KD Pavlik Floyd can surely TKO him! None of them are on his level right??
              Right????

I'm sorry but I do not want to see a Cotto Vs Floyd fight ... I mean in my opinion ,Cotto was no one special at all.. he look like garbage against Shane and Shane was way passed his prime ... even thought Shane took the fight ....

Floyd is a business man a smart one at that ...

here is why I agreed with Floyd decision ... We all know Paul williams can lose ... he got whooped by Quintana ... Margarito has 5 loses and lose to Williams ...and Cotto just got straight up s h i t t ed on... so i mean we all know these guys can lose... none of them are undefeated anymore ...if they were undefeated i would want to see it ...but i already know these guys are beatable ... floyd is still undefeated ...

cotto got smoked and i do not want to see him fight floyd ...

i would rather see floyd fight berto before any of these guys who got beat
