Klitschko vs. Povetkin in Trouble? Wlad Eyes Valuev?

Bernd Bonte, Klitschko's manager, told writer Jonathan Lehman that negotiations with Povetkin's promoter, Sauerland Event, have hit a brick wall. [details]

Man, Klitschko vs. Povetkin is the fight that has to happen.

But obviously Valuev would be an easier fight for Wladimir and probably also generate more money. What Klitschko is saying doesnt make any sense though. Valuev is with Sauerland and ARD as much as Povetkin is. So why is that fight easier to make? Against Povetkin a purse bid could solve the problem ...

yes... hence the insistence that "the winner of the August 30 Nikolay Valuev vs. John Ruiz bout would be their next target."

I acually agree with you on this one. I think Valuev will be a tough test, but Wladimir will prevail.

It's better for Povetkin to not fight Wlad.

Being brutally KOed at this point in his career would ruin his pro career.
