    Wladimir may not fight Povetkin

Wlad said in an interview today in German newspapers that negotiations between he and Povetkin's promoter Sauerland are not going well, and so he may decide to fight someone else this fall.

There are disagreements about which German TV network will broadcast the fight (ARD or RTL) as well as the share of the purse bid.

This is good news - I would much sooner see Wlad vs. Haye in November!

I would not like to see Haye-Klitschko in November. Haye would not be as proven at the weight (And maybe not as good, not as adjusted) so it would not be as good of a fight imo. If the fight happens in November, as Hayes first heavyweight fight, I think Wladimir would beat him easily.

Haye needs at least 2 fight at HW minimum before even trying to take on Wladimir.

I agree. He needs to get used to the weight a bit. Fighting with an extra 30 pounds or so on you in different, so he needs to adjust a bit before stepping in with a man of Klitschkos ability.

But lets not forget, Haye has been bragging about how easy Wlad will be to defeat. He doesn't seem to feel he needs any warm-up fights at heavyweight.

If he really believes that, why wait? Why not take advantage of such an easy opponent, and make a lot of money while doing it?

You know as well as me, it is what it is, it's talk. Haye knows he has to fight a few tune ups, as does Wladimir. Klitschko said it himself, right now Haye is a no body in the heavyweight division, he is just potential.

I've heard it said that the dog that barks the most doesn't bite.

Haye should have a little respect for Wlad, if he doesn't feel he's ready to fight him. But Haye has no class...

That's one thing I like about Margarito and Cotto - they are good sportsmen who respect each other. With those guys, there was none of the childish trash-talking.

Povetkin's camp are playing hard it seems. For this fight it's the regular 70-30 purse split I believe, which should be Povetkin's biggest payday. As for the TV, jesus, just pick whoever is paying the most.

To tell you the truth, not only it's not right for Haye to fight Wlad directly in November, but I think he would turn it down if the fight was offered to him on the same basis it is for Povetkin. Haye is a lot of talk, but I doubt he would jeopardize his career at HW. He knows he needs seasoning before Wlad. He will fight Rahman for sure.

I agree, if you look at a thread a while back i stated i was becoming fed up with fighters trash talk. A month or so before a fight maybe, but some guys trash talk for months and months (IE Mayweather, Haye etc) and it started to annoy me.

Miguel and Antonio were great sports, no bad blood shown between them but when they got in the ring, my god did they deliver.

Wlad against the winner of Ruiz vs. Valuev would be interesting.

I've always wanted to see Wlad KO Ruiz, and would like to see if Valuev's chin is really as good as it seems.
