As a boxing fan, you should recognize that Haye has atrocious mechanics, is frequently off balance, has no defense, and can only throw straight punches. When you add to that the fact that his stamina is bad and his chin is subpar, that spells disaster at HW.
Haye could do well at heavyweight. But its not as if many boxers havent caused Haye problems before. He wont be dominant like LEnnox Lewis and Co.
He coiuld win a heavyweight belt, and that will have been a good acheivement for him. I doubt he would defend it many times. Just long enough until someone half decent comes along.
Haye's run at CW was impressive enough, but Mormeck and Mac were nothing like what he stands to face in the near future. They were smaller men who were not especially skilled and both ready to be knocked out.
If Haye were to KO an old American HW (e.g. Toney) and a young Russian one (e.g., Dimitrenk, Ibragimov) then we could talk. But to compare those two CW wins to anything at HW is insanity.
You're acting like Toney and Ibragimov are skilled and dangerous opponents. They are just fat slow crap fighters, Haye is too fast they wouldn't be able to hit him.

Enzo Maccarinelli @ 200 lbs is probably better than most of the top 20 Heavyweights and Mormeck definitely is. Haye blitzed these guys, imagine a bigger Hayemaker
Hehe. The worst thing you could say about Ibragimov is that he is a small heavyweight in comparison to some of the other top dogs and that he looks a lil bit like Barney Rubble.
Other than that the guy is really game, throws consistent hard punches in bunches and is durable. In Wlad he just fought a guy with too many physical advantages.
