Seriously mayweather retired because he didnt love boxing anymore, he was only collecting paychecks the DLH vs mayweather fight was the most logical bout from an economical point of view but mayweather declined because he didnt need the money

The thing is some of the Marga****s have this ridiculous belief that Tony would DESTROY Mayweather. The truth is, they still havent gotten over the fact that Mayweather beat Castillo TWICE, and a bunch of other Mexicans. So they wanna hate on him as much as possible, making threads like this. The problem is there is alway someone to fight in this sport.
If he beat Margarito then Williams then if he did that he have to beat Cotto and Bert then go up in weight and beat Santos and then go up in weight and beat Pavilk or who ever hold the belt there.


There is alway someone need to be beaten. The sport doesnt stop because Mayweather retires he is just one person and he did what he wanted to do with the sport. The only person who accomplished what he did could be Oscar being 6 time champion but also he didnt finish in a good run.

This sport is different from other sport you only fight couple of times per year and if you make it big and have superfight you will fight less per year.

It not like a football match or basketball there is alway the next weekend to recover and if you didnt win this season there is another season.

As well as this sport is more dangerous than other sport. You get physically hurt with all those punches in the head. Dont wanna retire delusional and mumbling about my success after couple of years when I retire. I bet with all the brawls Gatti gave out nobody seemed to remember him much.

He did good and he did all what he wanted to do with the sport. Better retire especially if you heart is not into it like it used to be.

As far as I know he did pretty good and the only person who catchs his record in this era is Manny Pacquioa if he could go up and win against Hatton or even go winning at 147 that will replace Manny the best of fighter of this decade that Floyd.
