I knew in my heart cotto would be back before or at the beginning of the year. he is still the best welterweight in my eyes. its not how you fall its how you get up. he'll make us forget about this fight. I just wish he would have won so he coulda fought de la hoya. margarito doesn't have another fight like that left in him. once in a lifetime he risked his career to win it. he took a lot of head shots lets see how he recovers. I still think the rematch is the next fight and they can call it whatever they want. ill call it payback.

That beating that Cotto took from margarito was worse than the beating that Jeff Lacy took form Calzaghe ,i just wonder if it has a lasting affect on Cotto like it did Lacy!?

It's pretty ambitious to come back before the end of the year.

How do you figure that? Lacy was beat up in every single round. Cotto didn't take that much punishment in the first 6..

I totally agree, Cotto was beaten down but nowhere near as bad as Lacy was, i also doubt that it will have the same effect on him as it did Lacy.

A war is made up of many battles, and what he means is he lost this battle, but will prevail in his next battles, hopefully some more against Cotto. If he did this then he wins the war so to speak.
