Oscar step up to the plate, or say goodby and enjoy you retirement!

      ^lmao

Sulaiman is just mad because Pacman is not defending his WBC belt so he doesnt get a piece of that financial ppv pie from the oscar vs pacman.
I agree, This fight is all about padding the pockets of Manny and Oscar. It has no signifigance to boxing. The way to stop this nonsense is to stop buying PPV for events like this. Oscar has never impressed me as a great fighter, just above average is my grade. Either step up to the plate and take a real challenger like Margarito, Williams, Pavlic, or retire.

this fight is for the money for sure. but i think oscar has earned it to pick fights now. lol at ppl saying oscar runs, he faced them all in his prime, vargas, mosley, tito, mayorga, jcc, pernell even hopkins. a margarito fight would be great though.

I couldn't have put this any better myself!!....Perfectly said....DeLaHoya needs to go out with what got him so popular in the first place, and thats taking on ALL COMERS!! And right now that comer is Antonio Margarito....Oscar, it's painfully obvious, either fight Margarito or duck yourself away into retirement.

              Pac too small for Oscar

Promotors need to make legitimate fights, not mismatches. Oscar should fight Margarito if he wants to go out big. Oscar in his prime would probably beat Margarito, but now it will be much harder. Let Pac fight the lightweights, there are great fighters like Guzman and Marcos who might beat the Pac. So stop being ****** and/or greedy, promotors! No mismatches! NO NO NO!

EVERYTHING Oscar does in boxing is PERSONAL, since it's to do with making him POTS of money.

However Maybe he's a little "scrambled" in his thinking here, since, when the Hopkins fight was on, Oscar was NO welterweight, and in fact was a middleweight Champ-regardless of how he got it, we're talking weight divisions here.

And if you look at his record uyou'll see that he hadn't been a welterweight for 3.5 years, and had 5 fights outside the welter limit, 4 as a light-middle, (including a championship) and one (STURM) as a middleweight. Hopkins was his second middleweight fight............................And, lestr we forget..............

....although Hopkins is a light-heavyweight today, and had his first fight at light-heavy, in 1988, at he time he fought Oscar he had been a middleweight for about 12 years or more, and was only 1 lb heavier than the Golden Boychik (156-155) at weigh in time.

So either Oscar should have his brains rinsed out, or stop spreading all this self-praising crap.

Bringing up the Manny P. contract debacle is only likely to remind the boxing world that Manny was a Top Rank fighter, whim Oscar tried to steal away in a very shady and sneaky manner. He failed, and Arum and he came to an amicable arrangement whichthery've operated unde ever since, For him to bring up this crap at thistime, is the first signal in the PR BUMPH, which works well for Oscar, and that the fight is actually in the works. On the face of it, it's a ridiculous fight, a 5'6" 130 pounder against an (at least) a 5'10" 150 pounder.

So it'll need a whole messy dollop of superglitzy crap to sell it in a BIG WAY.

I agree with jose sulaiman. De le hoya should fight Margarito, in L.A. and let manny fight some fighters his own weight. I think after seeing how many punches Margarito throws, and how good of chin Margarito has, he probably won't.

Sulaiman is as shady as they come.

Listening to Jose ***** like this is just hillarious. What right does this guy have to tell people what they want. He obviously does'nt have a clue based on the WBC rankings. I just finished reading an article on ********* where this guy called on the new amateur boxing president to rid amateur boxing of corrupt officials. Are you kidding me. Sulaiman is suspect #1 on the corrupt boxing list. I think just a few weeks ago Joe Cortez messed up the Humberto Soto fight in WBC sanction fight. Prior to this he did a terrible job in the Hatton Mayweather fight. I don't think Cortez even got a talking to. Sulaiman you are a boxing rapist. I'm sure people would rather watch Manny vs Oscar than watch Roy Jones beat up garbage men in so called "mandatory defences".
