BoxingScene.com's Television Picks of the Week

It hasn’t been a regular occurrence for much of 2008, but this Saturday night HBO and Showtime go head to head with HBO appearing to have the better show on paper. Showtime’s main event could be good; HBO’s will be. The only shame of it all is that the two shows pit two marquee matches in two of Boxing’s very best division’s against each other. Real Boxing fans know that if current top ten Welterweight are fighting, they want to see it. [details]

    Showtime "could be good"? haha.

Judah/Clottey is NOT better on paper, unless of course you are just "reading" names.

    Darchinyan/Kirilov is the quality fight.

Ortiz-Laguna was a good fight between two highly underrated lightweights from the 1960's. Laguna couldn't hit much, but he had among the fastest hands ever.

It's a good thing I enjoy your posts. Otherwise I'd just be staring at your avatars all the time. Then I'd feel slightly dirty.
