    Lets get some things straight:

    Cotto didnt SURVIVE 11 Rounds:

He was winning the fight and succumbed to VOLUMES of punches late in the fight.

Margaritos in no way boxings new Chuck Norris

HE CAN AND WILL BE BEAT....probably by Paul Williams or Floyd

    Margarito has a great chin.....for a WW:

Margs probably not even suppose to be a WW, just like Paul Williams. Their dimensions are more so built for 154 and up. (NOT KNOCKIN EITHER ONE....IM JUST SAYIN, thats like Wlad slimming down to pick on 175 pounders)

If a rematch happens Cotto WILL win....IF:

He tighens up his defense and ups his conditioning a little

    what ya'll think?
    I think you're way off.

    1. Cotto was losing the fight. And it's not about the judges being subjective-nice try. The flashier punches may have been landed by Cotto but the cleaner ones came from Margarito--and a lot more of them too, I should add. Cotto went back to his corner with a bloody nose and cut eye in only round two. Somebody was ****ing his face up and it wasn't Kenny Bayless. Not to mention all the incredible bodypunching Margarito displayed. And you mean to tell me Cotto was winning? Please.

    2. Paul Williams already beat Margarito. As for Floyd, I believe he can as well but he's given us no reason to believe he's ever been inclined to do so. In other words, don't hold your breath. Oh, and that doesn't mean we automatically pretend like Floyd woulda won. You know, like how Cotto woulda won too.

    3. You act like starving to make weight helps you take punches better. NEWSFLASH: It's the exact opposite. Starving to make weight weakens you, just ask Chris Byrd, or Roy Jones or, better yet, MIGUEL COTTO. So I don't think Margarito being big for welter has anything to do with a rock solid chin. It would be just as solid at 154, I can assure you, if not better. If Wladimir Klitschko ever ****** himself down to 175, he'd get KTFO with the first punch that landed.

    4. So all Cotto needs to do is tighten up his defense and "up his conditioning" eh? Wow, you don't say? Well ****, if that's the case he should go for an immediate rematch! Let's see if he does.

      I think your delusional

      1. Hmmm so you mean to tell me whoever LOOKS like their losing is automatically losing the fight? So i guess since Holyfield & Ali werent ever cut in a fight, they NEVER lost one right? Get real. And please tell us how you scored rounds 1-5 cuz if you gave any to Marg obviously your boxing IQ is below ******ed and we can end this convo now.

      2. Floyd beats Margarito period!! If Miguel Cotto was able to box Marg for 11 rounds what the HELL do you think one of the best if not the best boxer of this era would do to Margarito??? He'd rip his ass apart. Floyd is much faster, better condition, way better boxer, a sharp shooter, defensive master, moves incredibly well, i could go on and on. Not only would Floyd completely out class him, Marg would probably need 20 or 30 rounds just to begin to catch Floyd ass. He'd frustrate Marg all night and make em look foolish. Look how long it took him to catch Cotto and we all know damn well he's no Floyd Mayweather.

      3. In some peoples instances it does help. Not everyones effected by weight lose like that. Look at Oscar.....he probably walks around at 170 or 180 easy but continues to drop down to 147 or 154 to pick on little guys (Floyd...Pac Man). And his chin carries through the weights regardless....when have we seen Oscar in trouble at any of the smaller weights??

      4. Yes if Cotto does those 2 things he can and will beat Marg. Margs one dimensional and the only hope he had of winning the fight after round 5 was out lasting Cotto and hoping to wear him down. Watch the fight and listen to the commentary again cuz you sound like it completely flew over your head.

i like margarito in a rematch by decision. cotto will try a couple things to avoid the best of margarito's offense, but cotto's stamina problems won't allow him to win.

As I see it, Cotto should have never allowed Marg to dictate the fight. If Cotto had pressed Marg and broke down his will to charge after him, the fight may have gone his way. In a rematch, maybe Cotto will change his fight strategy and be more the aggressor.

true......the only thing im not sure of is if Cotto tryed to press the action he might of got stopped even faster!!! Thats prolly what Margarito would want rather than chasing him
