Arturo Gatti vs Oscar Delahoya (video)

Since Pacquiao might be fighting oscar in the future this was oscars last fight at 147 and oscar came in at 170 and gatti weight only 149 during the fight.

      That was a major beatdown

Gatti was never any good at 147, he was just too small for that weight

In the corner after the 1st round, I remember the trainer saying "there's something wrong with this guy i told you"......maybe it was that DLH weighed 170 lol

Gatti is guilty of beating up on a smaller guy or two.

Yup, I've said it before. That's a good fight to go by with Pacquiao moving up in size comparison. Manny is gonna be so small because he'll be naturally a smaller guy, having just grown into the 135lbs weight division. Whereas Oscar has fought 147lbs awhile ago and now higher. Oscar will trim down to 147lbs, then overnight he'll gain nearly 15lbs while Manny I can't see gaining that much to effective. I mean, he comes in around 145lbs for his current fights and he looks good. Now he has to weigh in at 147lbs, and gain something overnight to be able to match Oscar. What's he gonna do to gain the weight that fast overnight when he's not a naturally big guy? The most he'll get to is maybe 150-152lbs. He'll look like this fatty in a weight class he doesn't belong and get pummelled. Bad bad idea.

Gattis trainer said on the night of the fight gatti only put on 3 pounds or something and came in the ring at 149 at 5 feet 8
Oscar came to the ring at 170 and he said their is something not right about this fight.
So he threw the towel in.
If pacman plans to weigh 145 by the time of the fight he will look weigh smaller and shorter then gatti.
The funny thing is Oscar took gattis shots like candy pacman does not have the same type of chin that Gatti has.
Remember JMM wobbled pacman with a leaping left hook.
Oscar sits down on his left hook.
One shot and it will be over pacman will be out cold on the canvas in one of the most vicious knockouts in the history of the sport.

It could be another Hopkins/DeLaHoya mismatch where it just takes one shot to end it. It might not even look like a big shot but when it is landed on the smaller man it is exponentially massive.

lol except Oscar would be throwing some major bombs on Pacman. Oscar would drop pacman worse then he dropped Mayorga with the left hook.,
