Juan Manuel Lopez is the man at 122 but he aint that great himself. I like the odds of this matchup being made. It'd be power vs power. 50/50

Juanma's power is obviously superior to Bernabe Concepcion. Juanma is a good boxer... Concepcion will need a game plan and work on his timing againts an equally quick and more powerful fighter... Bernabe likes to feel his oppenents out first and can take the counter puncher role if he has too. I think Juanma would be the aggressor in that fight. The one thing going for concepcion is his foot work which looks better and better each time out. Concepcion seems to get more athletic as he gains experience... Don't know what concepcion's chin is like, never seen it tested...

I disagree. Concepcion i think is the better boxer between the 2 and has a stronger chin than lopez. The problem is his footwork. Lopez would be able to time all that bouncing around very easily and catch him mid bounce

I guess the acid test for Concepcion right now would be Daniel Ponce de Leon.

yup they should put de leon on his ass. let's see how he handles a guy who throws wide punches and doesn't give a ****.

I give Abe excellent odds in that match up. The kid's got ring smarts.

yep but let's all hope that he stays on the ground. i visited the wild card a week before his fight and i heard roach complaining. concepcion thinks that he is a big star already that he doesn't need to get there on time. i hope he gets his act up and be matured about things like this.
