He would have been stopped sooner if he fought Margarito more IMO.
    not if he fought clever and tied Marg up more in close he would not have had to work as much, he could of got his shots off and leaned on Marg etc gone to the body and worn Marg down more

    also Marg only took solid shots when Cotto was on the backfoot Cotto never hit him solid when his weight was on his front were he cold find his power

    i dont disagree he could have easily been stopped ealier but the punishment he took on the outside i think it was worth taking a chance he could just as easy got away with it IMO as been koed cause of it i think it would have been a calculated gamble
