It was a sneaky move, but the change in stance also means that he delivered the punch with his weaker hand. (Assuming Rivera is not a converted fighter)

And it wasn't just that he was dropped he was very badly hurt and would have been knocked out if the round did not end as soon as he was up.

His corner ripped his tape in between rounds and held up the start of the next one so that he could have longer to recover.

He hasn't announced it publicly, but I have a reliable source who talks to people from his team everyday and Berto allegedly said "let Margarito stand in front of me all day like that and see what happens...." He is convinced he can take Tony and may look to bypass my man luis collazo to go for margarito after he beats two pound (though he would probably incur legal action against him in that case). A Berto v. Margarito scenario includes a lot of 'ifs' and looking past people, but apparently it is on his mind regardless... My friend also reported that Berto said that he is convinced he can make Margarito pay with harder AND faster punches than Cotto managed to hit him with...

Again... I didn't talk to Berto myself, but my source talked to his team. It's hearsay- but certainly peaked my interest and maybe it will yours. Assuming this is true, what are your thoughts?!?
