    God Bless Cotto And Margarito.

    A beautiful and exciting fight.

No flames please, this thread is simply to appreciate a world class effort.

Two guys who put it out there in front of the whole world. Cotto has nothing to be ashamed of, anyone who calls him a quitter is a fool plain and simple. Cotto fought like a man and never held a single time save for when he was clearly hurt.

This is the kind of fight that just proves how worthless Mayweather is to mainstream boxing. More excitement in each round of this fight than in the entire OLDH/Mayweather fight.

This fight only make me a bigger fan of both fighters and here is to hoping that they both continue to provide these type of fights for boxing fans all over the world.

Thing is, they didn't even really need to fight each other. They gave us a great fight, everyone should respect that.

yup, they continue to take on top flight opposition time and time again.

There will be no taking it easy, Antonio Margarito wont do anything besides take the next toughest fight available.

Cotto fought a dangerous guy he didnt have to fight. Props to him. And Margarito stepped up in his biggest fight and beat one of the top p4p fighters in world. They both fought hard and took some vicious shots. You cant ask for more then that.

The fight was GREAT. I mean, Since 4AM Sunday morning when the fight first happened (UK Time) I have watched it in full 3 times, and i watched some of it for a while when i was waiting for something to come on TV.

Great fight, BIG props to both guys.

                Great thread

They both gave their hearts in that fight, Cotto for the punishment he endured and Margarito for the will to beat a man who was highly favored over him. They are the key to what boxing needs.

Agree 100%. Who would want to watch Mayweather run from true welters for a 12 rd. boring decision or watch an overthe hill Oscar when they could see such brutal warriors go at in a real fight. This match boosted boxing as a sport.
