right now I gotta go w/ lopez because gamboa is getting knockdowned too much. lopez is a better puncher than any of the guys that put gamboa on his butt.

Juanma KO6, now and down the line.People forgets that Juanma is very young and is still improving. Juanma have more power and have better skills.Just because you have more amateurs fights doesnt mean you have better skills. Gamboa have only showed that he is fast and ****y. He is chinny as hell, people talk about Amir Khan but Gamboa have been down more times and rocked more times than Amir Khan, who is so called by manny as a chinny fighter. Gamboas defense is horrible and he have had problems with tomato cans. Juanma is the real deal and Juanma is as big as Gamboa, he is just draning himself to cath on the money at 122. By 2011 Juanma will be a 130 pounder. I see Gamboas career being similar to Mayorga(Of course Gamboa is way way more skilled than Mayorga).

gamboa has dissapointed me for the 2nd time. i had it a toss up at first but lopez KO him in 5 rounds. lopez is just too big.

Gamboa is a good fighter, he went the distance but thats good. He got experince and didnt blow the guy out in two rounds means good match making, and it was a great fight from him to learn from.

I went with Juanma if they were to fight right now. Gamboa has a leaky defense, and I think Juanma would catch him. Give Gamboa some more time. I'm a big fan of both though. I think they're both going straight to the top.

good question homey, i have been thinking about making a threa about these two for a long time now. i think both are the future of the sport, and would have to go with juan ma. gamboa will outbox him for a few rounds but when juan ma tags him the fight will turn in his favour, gamboa has looked vulnerable on the chin. would be exciting
