According to Leon Margules, executive director of Seminole Warriors Boxing, who promote Raul Marquez, the mandatory fight with IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham will take place on October 4. Margules says the fight will likely take place in Germany.

NAW that is ****ed up why Germany? he already fought there so many times he needs to fight in Carson California so the Armenians can watch the arena seats 8 thousand.
They need this guy to fight more in America and little by little he will get the exposure he needs for a showdown with Jermain taylor or Pavlik or even Calzaghe.

Sweet mismatch, Marquez defeating Lorenzo means nothing more than lorenzo is a terrible fighter with an inflated record.

Marquez drew with an ancient Bronco Mckart before that fight. Same McKart who was stopped badly by Enrique Ornelas in his previous fight.

Since it is my opinion that Edison Miranda is the most overrated fighter in boxing this makes 27 straight easy fights for Artie. Well maybe I will give him credit for Ian Gardner.

            Couldn't agree more man...

I'd sit Ringside no doubt, maybe even take the mic from Jimmy Lennon Jr.
