He was exhausted, he had a broken nose with a constant blood flow and had taken too many hard body shots from Margs. Instead of trying to disrespect Cotto give Tony some credit for being able to take a damn good champion to that point. Cotto is one of the elite fighters right now and Tony just physically beat him till he couldn't continue.
