not really i did not say Marg had the same style as Clottey i put foward perfectly legit reasons why they similar because both are big WW that are fighting at 147 instead of their natural weight division

okay fair enough, I see what you mean as both Clottey and Marg are relatively big when compared to other Welter's

but still Margarito makes the better pressure fighter, as 1. he has more wins by kayo and 2. Tony doesn't have hand problems.

Clottey is a better version of Margarito ,just as tough ,he is also quicker he probably does'nt punch as hard but he can crack enough to hurt u or take u out ,he is more of a natural 154lbs like Marg he is physically as strong as Marg if not stronger, he is a better body pucher has a better D and has very good stamina and allround better Boxing skills

BTW if Marg has the Cajones to face Clottey again my points are on Clottey

Clottey is overall better, but Margarito's will and determination won him the fight before. You could argue Clottey's hand and stamina made him lose the fight though.

Clottey and Marg are similar in that they are tough and both large welterweights. Both guys win in a similar way, by being stronger than their opponent and breaking him down.

Stylistically though, they are pretty different. Clottey's major asset is defense and countering, and he's a low workrate boxer. Marg has virtually no D and is a high output pressure fighter. I'd like to see them fight again though, and I'd give the slight edge to Marg.
