Question to Margarito fans

I was teling my boys like look yes Cotto is way faster and he is very accurate right now........BUT....When Cotto realizes that Marg aint going nowhere no matter how hard you hit him then Cotto will fold..and thats exactly what happened he started backpedaling like an NFL Cornerback.

I kinda thought he had it in the bag because I thought Marg would ease up due to wear and tear and possibly even KD. But the mother ****er kept coming forward like Scarface after sniffing a Kilo of coke.

I admit there were a few times when I was in shock that he took Cotto's punches, I knew his chin was good, just not that good.

yeah some guy named eduardo lamazon does the scorecard he actually was an important member of the wbc years ago
he had barrera defeating pacquiao, mosley beating cotto(this wasnt so controversial), and he had margarito ahead by 6 points at the time of the stoppage, julio cesar chavez was actually more objective
the hbo guys were also biased they kept saying "margarito is not landing" while compubox says otherwise
and they said cotto was inflicting most damage yeah right
watch the fight without commentary and u can see why the judges had margarito ahead by 2 points before the stoppage, it really makes an impression seeing a guy bleeding and running while the other keeps throwing 100 powershots per round

What I was thinking and what I told my friends was, If Cotto wins this he's going to ****en deserve it because Margarito is going to push this pace the whole night. I also thought Cotto was fighting a brilliant fight but as I had posted many times before the fight i predicted he would really slow down and I was hoping it would be enough for him to get stopped.

I was worried, I honestly wasn't, I was getting a little bit desperate because I wanted Tony to start throwing more, I actually felt he started off pretty slow and let Cotto dominate the first couple of rounds although I gave round two to Tony cuz he buzzed Cotto, my main concern was that I didn't want this fight to go to the cards after the watching the first 6 rounds. But as far as Tony getting hurt, naw not really, just cringed when Cotto threw his combos at him landing pretty much all of the time.

I doubt they were. Marg fans knew how solid his chin is and how he gets stronger in the later rounds. If anything I was worried whether Cotto could replicate what he did in the earlier rounds and not fade.
